But I will comment briefly on the full version.
#SKETCHUP 2017 REVIEW FREE#
Overall: My review here is about the current, cloud-based free version of Sketchup, rather than the full version. Most CAD programming require a top of the line PCs with superior execution framework yet SketchUp turns out great in any average PC. What makes SketchUp the best 3D plan programming is not normal for any option is capacity to run as expected in any PC. With 3D stockroom and expansion distribution center a client can assemble any plan utilizing next to no work. Additionally SketchUp got extraordinary modules which will set aside both time and cash of an originator. Best component is in SketchUp is stroll around choice which will give genuine reproduction how the last plan will be. Got many devices to help clients in demonstrating. Indeed, even as a novice SketchUp was straightforward and powerful instrument. What's more, with 3D stockroom include I had the option to make exceptionally sensible reproduction making the plan interaction very more straightforward. Before I utilized SketchUp I thought 3D demonstrating was hard however with SketchUp, model was done effectively and had the option to encounter how it would take care of development. Pros: I expected to plan a few structures and utilized SketchUp to make a 3D model.
#SKETCHUP 2017 REVIEW SOFTWARE#
Most CAD software require a high-end computers with high performance system but SketchUp works fine in just any mediocre laptop. What makes SketchUp the best 3D design software is unlike any alternative is ability to run smoothly in any computer. With 3D warehouse and extension warehouse a user can build any design using very little effort. Best feature is in SketchUp is walk around option which will give real life simulation how the final design will be.Īlso SketchUp got great plugins which will save both time and money of a designer. Got many tools to help users in modelling. Even as a beginner SketchUp was simple and effective tool. Before I used SketchUp I thought 3D modelling was hard but with SketchUp, model was done easily and was able to experience how it would look after construction.Īnd with 3D warehouse feature I was able to create very realistic simulation making the design process quite easier. Pros: I needed to design several buildings and used SketchUp to create a 3D model. And being that there's a community side to it with a warehouse makes it super fast and efficient to start using. So the ease of use for someone to really get into it and start building little projects or designing things that you need to get done really really makes it easy. Well, just go into a parts warehouse and look for it, and someone else has already done that and shared it. Well, that's going to take a few minutes. I need to draw a piece of plywood, for example. So there's so many people using it if you need to pull. And one of the really cool things about SketchUp is there's a parts warehouse. There's lots of videos online you can use. It already comes with so many easy tools that you can use right there within the program. They just downloaded it, installed it, and we were able to start using it.įor anybody that's thinking about getting into some type of auto-type CAD drawing program, SketchUp is definitely something to take a look at. And for guys that really aren't technology experts, they were able to use this product so easy that really, we didn't even have to have training. We could just pull out our device, pull up that project, zoom in, pull a measurement, pull a design spec. So, if there was a question, we didn't have to call back. So we were able to take those drawings from the desk and then bring those out into the field with us. So, from taking the drawings from the desk, SketchUp has a really awesome mobile tool as well, SketchUp Viewer. The ease of use with SketchUp from the very beginning was super, super simple to use and integrate. We were able to draw complete houses and all the different projects we're working on right there from the fly. And after just looking at a couple of videos online, we were able to, with really no knowledge of a CAD-type product, jump right in and start designing and drawing our projects with no training. We started testing SketchUp, just using it on small projects. There were just so many parts and pieces and components that we couldn't just jump into it and start using it without some serious type of education and training. But you needed, it seemed at least, a complete education to use those tools. And then we started looking into a technology way to do that, so we looked into maybe some of the CAD programs. Prior to SketchUp, we had more of a little caveman approach. For more reviews like this, click on the link below. And for SketchUp, easily five out of five stars. I'm the CEO and president of our company.
